Building whiteboards

Sticky notes, text, images, and other canvas elements

Funnel steps do the math, but a good whiteboard also tells a story. The left toolbar gives you a set of elements for annotating, structuring, and enriching your board. Click one to place it, or drag it where you want it.

Sticky note#

A classic sticky note for ideas, reminders, and feedback.

Heading#

Large section titles to structure big boards, for example "Acquisition", "Nurture", "Sales".

Text box#

Free-form text anywhere on the canvas. Text supports markdown-style formatting like bold, italics, and lists, with a formatting toolbar when you edit.

Rectangle#

A simple shape for grouping related steps visually or highlighting an area.

Arrow#

A free-floating arrow for pointing at things. (Connections between funnel steps are separate; arrows are purely visual.)

A link card for any URL. Great for connecting your whiteboard to the real landing page, doc, or dashboard it represents.

YouTube video#

Paste a YouTube link to embed the video preview right on your board, handy for VSLs and ad creatives.

Social post or ad#

A social-style preview card for mocking up the post or ad that feeds your funnel.

Image#

Visual exports include the image itself. AI-ready Markdown describes an image through safe details such as its alt text, filename, file type, dimensions, and whether it is present; it does not embed the private image or its storage link.

Screenshot#

Capture a screenshot of any web page by URL and place it on the board. Funnel steps can also carry a page preview of their own; see Page previews and thumbnails.

Comments#

Comments are pins, not canvas objects, so they never interfere with your layout or exports. Comment conversations are not included in AI-ready Markdown. See Comments.

Working with elements#

  • Move anything by dragging, resize using the handles
  • Copy, cut, paste, and duplicate with the usual shortcuts; see Keyboard shortcuts
  • Delete with the Delete or Backspace key
  • Right-click the canvas or an element for a context menu with quick actions
