The dashboard is home base. It shows your organizations, spaces, and whiteboards, and it's where you create, find, and manage your work.
Finding your way around#
- Organization switcher. Switch between your organizations, or pick "All organizations" to see everything at once.
- Spaces. Your team spaces and client spaces appear as tabs, along with your personal space.
- Whiteboards. The main area lists the whiteboards in whatever organization or space you've selected, including boards that were shared with you.
Card view and list view#
Toggle between a visual card view with thumbnails and a compact list view. Wireslate remembers your choice.
Search and sort#
Use the search box to find whiteboards by name, and the sort control to order them by date or name.
Tags#
Tags help you label and filter whiteboards, for example by client, campaign, or status.
- Add a tag using the "Add tag" pill on a whiteboard card or row, or through Edit tags in the 3-dot menu
- Filter by tags with the tag filter. Selecting several tags shows whiteboards that match any of them
- A whiteboard can have up to 20 tags, each up to 32 characters
Tag filters are scoped to the space or organization you're viewing, since each one tends to have its own tag vocabulary.
Creating a whiteboard#
The 3-dot menu#
Every whiteboard card and row has a 3-dot menu with quick actions:
- Duplicate makes a full copy, including images, in a spot you choose
- Edit tags opens the tag editor
- Delete removes the whiteboard permanently
