Click Share in the top toolbar of any whiteboard to open the sharing options. You can share a board with the whole world, with specific people, or with a space, and see everyone's access in one place.
The four ways to share#
Public link#
Publish a read-only snapshot of your whiteboard that anyone with the link can open, no account needed. Viewers can also duplicate the board into their own account. Full details in Public links.
People#
Spaces#
Move or share the whiteboard into a space, so everyone in that space gets access with their space role. This is the natural way to share with a whole team or client group at once.
Access#
An overview of everyone who can currently open this whiteboard, where their access comes from (direct invite, space, or organization), and their role. Owners can change roles and remove access here.
Who can manage sharing#
The whiteboard's owner manages sharing. Editors, commenters, and viewers see the access overview relevant to them but can't invite others.
A quick decision guide#
- Client wants to see progress: public link, or invite them as a Viewer
- Client should give feedback: invite them as a Commenter
- A teammate should build with you: invite them as an Editor, or share via a team space
