A public link lets anyone see your whiteboard in a read-only view, no Wireslate account needed. It's perfect for sharing your funnel with a client, your audience, or a community.
Publish a public link#
- Open the whiteboard and click Share
- Go to the Public link tab
- Publish the link, then copy and share it anywhere
How public links work#
A public link shows a snapshot of your whiteboard taken when you publish. If you keep editing afterwards, the public page keeps showing the published version until you republish. The share dialog lets you know when your public link is behind your latest changes, so nothing goes out before you're ready.
What visitors can do#
- View the whiteboard, including steps, metrics, and scenarios
- Duplicate the whiteboard into their own Wireslate account with the Duplicate button. If they don't have an account, they can create one and the duplicate completes right after. Your original is never affected
Turn a link off or replace it#
From the Public link tab you can:
- Disable the link, which immediately stops it from working
- Regenerate the link, which invalidates the old URL and creates a new one. Useful if a link spread further than you intended
Branding on the public page#
Privacy notes#
- Anyone with the URL can view the published snapshot, so share it accordingly
- Comments and private details from your editing session are not included in the public snapshot
- Only images you placed on the board are copied into the public version
