You can invite people at three levels: to your organization, to a space, or to a single whiteboard. Where you invite them decides what they can see.
Invite someone to your organization#
Organization owners and admins can invite people from the organization's People tab:
- Open your organization's management view from the dashboard
- Go to People and enter the person's email
- Pick their organization role: Admin, Member, or Guest (see Roles and permissions)
- Optionally, bundle access to specific spaces with the invite, so they land with the right access on day one
Invite someone to a space#
Share a whole space from the space's settings or when sharing a whiteboard via the Spaces tab. Everyone in a space gets access to all its whiteboards with their space role (Editor, Commenter, or Viewer).
Invite someone to a single whiteboard#
Open the whiteboard, click Share, and use the People tab to invite by email with a per-board role.
What the invited person experiences#
- If they already have a Wireslate account, access appears right away
- If they're new, they get an email invitation. After they sign up and accept, they land directly in the organization, space, or whiteboard you invited them to
Pending invitations#
Until an invite is accepted it shows as pending, and you can revoke it. Revoking an organization invite also revokes any space access bundled with it.
