The Funnel Summary

The Funnel Summary is the dock at the bottom of the canvas. It's the payoff of your whiteboard: your funnel's economics, always up to date as you edit.

The headline numbers#

At a glance you'll see:

  • Rev: total revenue across the funnel
  • Cost: total costs, including per-person costs and flat operational costs
  • Net: revenue minus costs, colored green when positive and red when negative
  • People %: the share of people entering the funnel who make it to the end
  • Total conversions and average order value (AOV)

Expand for the step-by-step view#

Click the dock to expand it into a full breakdown showing each step of your funnel with its people, conversion from the previous step, cost, revenue, and net. It's the fastest way to spot the step that's leaking money.

Whiteboard totals vs. scenario detail#

The summary has two modes:

  • Whiteboard mode rolls up totals for the board
  • Scenario mode shows the detailed step-by-step table for the active scenario

You can also jump to the full comparison of every variant and scenario from the summary; see Variants and scenarios.

A note on how totals are calculated#

Wireslate adds up parallel paths correctly: if two traffic sources feed the same page, their people and costs are combined. Steps that subtract money, like refunds or churn, reduce your net just as they would in real life.
