How Wireslate is organized

Everything in Wireslate lives in a simple hierarchy:

Organizations#

An agency might look like this:

Spaces#

Spaces group related whiteboards and control who can see them. There are two kinds:

Team spaces for internal projects with your teammates

Everyone you add to a space gets access to all the whiteboards in it, with the role you choose (Editor, Commenter, or Viewer). See Team spaces and client spaces.

Your personal space#

You also get a personal space that's just yours. It's a great spot for drafts and experiments before you move work into a shared space.

Whiteboards#

Whiteboards are where the actual work happens: the canvas, the funnel steps, the metrics, the scenarios. A whiteboard lives in a space (or your personal space) and can also be shared individually with specific people or through a public link. See Share a whiteboard.

Who can do what#

Access flows top-down: organization roles (Owner, Admin, Member, Guest) set someone's standing in the organization, while space and whiteboard roles (Editor, Commenter, Viewer) set what they can actually do on a board. The full breakdown is in Roles and permissions.
